Yes, tere is now a desktop app for Google Photos! Google Photos recently became available as a Progressive Web App (PWA), which means it can be added to your desktop or your phone’s home screen. Once complete, all of your photos from Google Photos will now be available in Mac Photos! Using Google Photos on Desktop The process may take a few minutes depending on how many photos you have. After configuring the settings, click “Sync” again to begin syncing your photos. You can also configure the settings for the sync, such as which albums and folders should be synced, as well as how oten they should be synced. Here you will see a button labelled “Sync” that you can click to begin syncing your photos with Mac Photos. Once signed in, go to the Photos tab in the top navigation bar.
